Laos: Luang Prabang
Located in northern Laos, Luang Prabang is one of the most fascinating cities in Asia. The city itself is beautiful, in addition to which it is located in an incredibly picturesque location, surrounded by green-sided mountains.
The whole city is on the UNESCO World Heritage List thanks to its interesting architecture, which combines both Laotian and European influences. A walking tour of the city center offers many fascinating architectural experiences, one good example of which is the French-influenced Royal Palace Museum.
In addition to the architecture, the visitor is impressed by the cozy and relaxed atmosphere of the city. It is not uncommon to see, for example, quiet donuts wandering at a slow pace, collecting alms.
Luang Prabang’s main natural attraction is the enchanting Kuang Si Waterfall, located just south of the city. Located in the middle of a tropical rainforest, the waterfall descends into limestone natural pools, whose turquoise water invites you to take a refreshing swim.
Vietnam: Halong Bay
One of Vietnam’s most famous attractions is Halong Bay in the north.
Due to its unique nature, the bay has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The area is characterized by hundreds of majestic karst islands that rise from the sea like green towers. In Halong Bay, the color of the sea varies from deep blue to emerald green depending on the season, and both colors only accentuate the beauty of the green-sided limestone islands rising from the sea.

China: The Great Wall of China
An old urban legend says it appears until the moon. It’s not true, but big it is. The Great Wall of China extends from eastern Shanhaiguan to Jiayuguan in the northwestern part of the country.
The wall, which in fact consists of several different pieces of the wall, was built and expanded during many different dynasties, the last time during the reign of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is a huge defensive structure that includes, in addition to the wall itself, watchtowers, fortresses, and other now ruined buildings.
The length of the wall is defined as anything between 6,000 and 20,000 kilometers, depending on who is being asked. Today, however, there is a broad consensus that the structure we call the Great Wall of China was completed during the Ming Dynasty and is 8,851 kilometers long.
In addition to its fascinating history, the surroundings of the wall offer stunning scenery. As you stand on the ridge of the wall, you can see how, like a snake, a wall that follows mountain slopes is skillfully built into a beautiful natural landscape.
Sri Lanka: an enchanting highlands
Sri Lanka’s enchantingly beautiful highlands are located south of the island nation.
The scenery of the lush green highlands is undulating, and at its highest the hills rise to 2,500 meters above sea level. The flora and fauna of the highlands are incredibly diverse, and many endangered animals are found here, one example of which is the rare Sri Lankan leopard.

The river meanders through the landscape like a silk ribbon, and the green-sided karst mountains rising from its banks are like straight from the pages of a storybook.
The mountains create exciting shadows over fields and villages and are beautifully reflected from the calm water surface.

Cambodia: Koh Rongin Long Beach
The island of Koh Rong is located in the Gulf of Siam off the west coast of Cambodia. On a still quite untouched island, small rural villages, magnificent nature and white sandy beaches await visitors.
One of the most beautiful beaches is Long Beach (Sok San Beach), which is also one of the most peaceful paradise beaches in all of Asia. The clear blue sea water embraces the white sand beach, which is as long as 7 km from end to end – so there is enough space.

Japan: Mount Fuji
There are several active volcanoes in Japan, but the most famous of them is certainly Mount Fuji, 3776 meters high.
The highest mountain in the country is easily identified by its almost perfect conical shape and snowy peak.
Fuji is located just outside Tokyo, and in clear weather the snow-capped mountain is visible all the way to the city. Even better, the scenery can be admired in Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, which is known not only for its mountain views but also for its Onsen spas built on hot natural springs.

Myanmar: The plateau of Bagan
Located in Myanmar, Bagan is a ruined city that once served as the capital of the first Burmese empire.
A huge number of temples were built on the plain of the same name, about 67 square kilometers in size, with thousands of golden towers rising high above the tree tops.
Over time, the city deteriorated and suffered from natural disasters, with the result that present-day Bagan is no longer a small rural town. Despite its small size, the city offers great cultural experiences.
The city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, still has countless temples and buildings that archaeologists have not yet had time to explore.
The scenery is at its best at sunset as seen from the temple tower or roof, with the sun coloring the plateau, temples and shrines in warm tones of red.
Indonesia: Mount Bromo
Mount Bromo in Java, Indonesia, is certainly one of the most beautiful places in the world at sunrise.
The 2329 meter high volcano is not the highest mountain in Indonesia, but nevertheless it is one of the most popular attractions in the country. One reason for this is the impressive crater of the volcano, which is about 10 kilometers in diameter.
Mount Bromo has to be reached on foot, but the scenery rewards the discerning hiker: a smoky volcano and black volcanic sand give the view from the edge of the crater most reminiscent of a distant planet in a sciffile. The view is definitely worth the effort!
Indonesia: Nusa Lembongan
Nusa Lembongan is a small island located southeast of Bali.
The island’s white sandy beaches and crystal clear sea water create the perfect setting for a relaxing beach holiday.
As a counterbalance to lounging on the beach, you should head out to explore the island’s attractions, the most notable of which is the impressive rock formation Devil’s Tears. The waves of the sea sway the rock so that the water splashes, but at the same time the water mist they raise creates delicate beautiful rainbows over the formation.
The scenery on Paradise Beach is also incredibly beautiful. Far on the horizon is the magnificent Mount Agung volcano in Bali, and the Sunsets on Paradise Beach have already become legendary.
